The girls had so much fun in swimming lessons this year! Maddie was moved to the big, deep pool and learned how to do the back float and swim with a kickboard while Kenzie was in the smaller pool learning how to do a back float and front float, and the go all the way under water. I was so proud of them on the last day when I was able to go watch what they had learned. Now that the lessons have ended for the year the girls are counting down until they start next year.
Ever summer my mom, sisters and I try to take the kids somewhere fun for a get-together. Last week we were all able to meet in Green River at the water park and let the kids spend most of the day playing in the water. It was such a hot,absolutely perfect day to play in the water. When it was time to go home we had some pretty tired kids that slept the whole way home and I'm guessing everyone slept well that night!
We took a camping trip to the Flaming Gorge a couple of weeks ago and the girls were wanting so badly to catch some crawdad's. So Andy threw the traps out and the next morning we woke up to 3 traps filled with crawdad's. Kenzie was brave and held one but Maddie wasn't quite sure if she wanted to get anywhere near one! When it was time to leave we took home a 5 gallon bucket full and put most of them in our creek and Maddie kept 4 of them to put in her fish tank. What a fun trip!
Here are a few of the only pictures I took for the 4th of July. I forgot to take my camera everywhere that day except for the fireworks.....so here they are! 
Maddie and Kenzie, Haylee and Brynne were the flower girls for Nick's wedding and they were so excited about it! This first picture of Kenzie and Brynne is one of my favorite's! The girls were so dolled up for night.....but I won't say that they stayed clean all night with all of the playing they did at the reception! What a fun day!
Maddie played her last season of T-ball this summer. She had a lot of fun and did such a good job playing....next year she moves up the minor league!
Andy has been busy lately building a few things for our house! Since the new baby is coming and going to need a room.....we put Maddie and Kenzie in one room in the custom built bunkbeds of my hands husband! We fell in love with the bed as he was finishing it...he does such good work! The stool has been very handy in our mud room for puting shoes on, and the tv stand is a lot better than the TV sitting on the ground!
