Ready For Christmas!

Grandma Johnson brought the girls a gingerbread house when she was up and I wouldn't hear the end of it until I let the girls make it! So we sat down one night before bed and went to work! They has so much fun and made such a cute house! Then of course they had to pose in front of the tree afterwards........

Visits from Family

I kept Brynne (Tonia's youngest) overnight and her and Kenzie had so much fun! Maddie and Kenzie had set up a tent in their bedroom the day before, and Brynne and Kenz had so much fun sleeping in there! The next day we were able to have Andy's family up and had even more fun! The girls made Christmas cookies with Grandma and played with their new guitars from uncle Ben. It was just an all-out fun weekend!

Snowman Pancakes

I guess I was feeling in the Christmas spirits one morning. I woke up early and made the girls some snowman pancakes and they fell in love with them! Such fun!

Christmas Program

Maddie was so excited for her Christmas program this year! She would come home singing songs very quietly in her room because she wanted it to be a surprise for us. When we were in Idaho Falls for Thanksgiving we found the girls the cutes dresses and Maddie was so excited to put it on and wear it to her program. (But before all of this her and Kenzie were so cute playing santa's reindeer pulling him in his sleigh) She sang so cute and her class did the cutest little dance! Can't wait until next years now!

Thanksgiving in Idaho Falls

This year for Thanksgiving we went to Idaho Falls with my parents to take my grandpa out to dinner. Andy and the girls had never met him so it was a great occasion! We went to Chuck-a-rama which may sound weird but it was very good........and we didn't have to do the dishes! We stayed right by "Idaho Falls" where there were a bunch of ducks just walking around waiting to be fed. The girls LOVED feeding them! On the way home we went through Jackson Hole to see the elk heard and to get there we went over the pass which was beautiful with the snow falling all around us! (the picture's don't quite give the justice!) We loved it! Then we just had the gread family fun of a road trip!

Lost Locks of Love :(

Maddie's hair was getting so long (and a fight to get done in the morning!) so we decided to go and get her a hair cut. We were planning on sending her hair to 'Locks of Love' but were so dissapointed when we were told her hair wasn't long enough :( But we decided to cut it anyways and grow it out again for the cause. She loves her new hair cut and looks so cute in it! I think the 'short' hair suits her sassiness!

This was Maddie's Star day at school. She was so cute! Me and Andy and Kenzie were able to go in and listen to her read the whole page about herself to her class (which I didn't write with the thought in mind that 'she' would be reading it, but she read it with no problem!) and show her page that we made together of her favorite pictures- priceless! :)

I love this picture of my Dad! I caught him all 'unawares' at the party :)

Scary Nights

Wow, I have some catchin' up to do! The girls had so much fun this Halloween! Maddie was our little queen and Kenzie was such a little witch! :) Maddie had a costume parade walking around the halls of her school and was so proud, (and a little shy) while she was walking around. Trick-or-treating was a blast! We hit about 30+ houses and will have candy for about 2 more years from it! Then we had so much fun at my parent's house for the annual halloween party!

Fall Fun

When we were up at my parents house we decided to go to the park in Pinedale. The kids loved playing in the river, if I would have only let them get in! I guess the pictures are at least cute! We walked around a little walking track where they had stations where you could stop and do some activities. One had bars to do push-ups on and Kenzie was so proud that she could do a push-up! It was so cute watching her! Maddie loved pushing little Paxton around in the stroller to show off for a little boy that was following her around.
